Dogs are the best friend of everybody. It is loyal and obliging. However, you will need to train the dog carefully before it is able to be your best friend. In fact dogs are brilliant and can be tough. Only when you train your family pet, getting him to stay put in a place is important. It will be very frustrating to have your guest being uncomfortable when your dog is pouncing or jumping around. Conversation is impossible when you have to search for your dog continuously in the park because it just does not stay in one place. By giving this instruction, this instruction, you already have the dog sitting obediently in one place.

i’ve heard many times that training your dog with German commands is better and easier for the dog. some people claim that the intonation and pronunciation of German is somehow easier for dogs to get. is this true? i have a beautiful pitbull girl, who’s very sweet and an overall very good dog. she’s been acting up lately, chewed up a pillow, not coming when i call and not dropping her toy when i tell her too. any videos or websites anybody recommends? all genuine good advice is welcome and appreciated. thanx in advance!
thank you sooo much guys, i’ve got mixed responses but overall says german is better. i’ll try some tips you guys gave. if not, german it is. thanks again! wunderbar!

khalsaman23 asked:

is it better for your dog to go to classes to be trained or is it better for a professional trainer to come to your house about 1-2 times a week?
he goes to the dog park and to the doggy day care once in a while, so he doesnt need to go to classes just to be socialized

What is a correction in dog training?

Shadow’s Melon asked:

When you think of a correction on a dog, what do you think that is? What exactly is done when a dog is corrected during training? How is a proper correction administered on a dog?

Regardless of if a correction on a dog is acceptable to you or not is not relevant here. All I want is for you to define and explain what you think a correction actually is in regards to dog training.
Let me state again… please tell me what is done in a correction. I already know WHY, but what I want to hear is HOW it is done. Thanx.
